Yahoo Mail

Yahoo! Mail was born in 1997 when Yahoo! Bought Rocket mail, a company with an email service, and changed the name to Yahoo! Mail.

On April 1, 2004, an email war started between Microsoft, Yahoo, and Google when Google announced that it was working on a web mail service, called G mail.
